Is time to draw a yeti!
I feel ashamed as to my lack of posting this summer.. my bad excuse is I have been busy working full time at a retail store , was in thailand for a month and went to Glastonbury festival. I'm now entering my last year of university ( noooo , will miss this lifestyle) and will hopefully be posting more of my progress.
Enter the Yeti! I have decided to enter a lot more competition this year so to start of I looked into 'The missing link research project' organise by Pictoplasma production.
Character design is not really my cup of tea ,as in I have not yet enter into this area much as an illustrator. So I decided to see what I can come up with as this competition seems rather fun and spontaneous! I have tried many drawings that just end up looking like a weird ape so just decided to go with the unknown by paining first with just brush and water then drop some ink onto the area and moved the paper about, then with a scanner and some colour adjustment on photoshop.. Tadah!.. I have a shape that looks like it could be any large man beast thing. Then of course i draw some eyes, nose, hand and feet n that was the creation of my version of a yeti, big foot or abominal snowman.. how ever you want to call it. I must say I really like my creation to be real just so that he could live in my garden :)

Narrative of 'childhood memories'
The digital flat version of my final outcome for the Narrative project, the theme I have chosen were 'Childhood memories'. In this memories the main topic were ' Journey', essentially it was a memory of a road trip in a linear structure. In turn I have created boxes for these image to be fitted in as a three-dimensional setting. This was for the audience to be able to look into 'my boxes of memories'. ( Images of these boxes will soon follow as soon as I have a spare minute to photograph them)

'Up in the air' entry
This is my illustration for the 'This is'...' Up in the air' competition/exhibition. Unfortunately I didn't made the cut for my work to be exhibited at 60 million postcard(bournemouth town). But I thought at least I enter and there is always next time to create something that I really really love and spend lots of time on. This was how ever a last minute thing.. which i really need to stop doing.
